Lawence, his father Remmi, his father Gabriel, his father Charles Henri, his father Domenique Benjamine, his father Benjamine Francios, his father Francious Mius d'Azy, his father Joseph Mius, his father Phillippe II Mius, his father Phillippe Mius d'Entremont, and his father Nicolas Mius.  My mothers s a Deveau, her mother a Murie, and back to Blanchard.  I'm still seaching
Deveau's, Murie, and Blanchard's back to 1806 from Ste-Ann-Russeau.  My Grandmother Hellena (Lena Murie) Deveau died in an auto accident 1958 and is buried there in front of the Spires accross the street. Next to a grave site of Louis Norris.  My first visit was 1958 and my last June 1997.    Any information on either side of my family would be appriciated esspecially if the information I have is not correct.

Comments: My mother, Ann Beatrice Meuse, was born in Canada in 1899 - somewhere in the Yarmouth County area and, in fact, remained a Canadian
citizen for all of her life.  We have been attempting to trace her ancestry and, as a result, have visited the Yarmouth and Digby Websites in particular.  Because our own resources are somewhat slim, we have not had much success to date. But, I, in particular have thoroughly enjoyed visiting your sites.  Many years ago, my husband and I took my parents to Nova Scotia to visit my mother's family.  My husband and I then toured Nova Scotia - driving from Yarmouth up the West coast, then across to Halifaz and south down the East Coast.  We thought it was beautiful then and I find it somewhat amazing to look at the Websites and see the changes that have occurred.
Thank you for the pleasant trip!  Hopefully, we will have the opportunity to visit in person again.

My mother inlaw Dorothy Moser (nee. Thibeau),is searching for Elizabeth(Betty)Smith,born in Kelly's Cove N.S. approx. 1934.
Betty's mother's name was Almeada Smith, and she passed away 2 years ago in Kelly's Cove.
Betty had 4 daughters,one was named Cathy.  Dorothy last last Betty in early 1951. The family had (perhaps still have) Dave Smith Kelly's Cove Garage.
Dorothy has lost contact with Betty,although they were close friendsyears ago. and has always wondered about her.
Dorothy feels that Betty could be living in the 613 area code in Ontario,
possibly with one of her daughters.
Dorothy would appreciate any help in locating Betty.

Comments: We visited your beautiful providence and really enjoyed our stay. We found the people to be extremely friendly. We do plan to make another trip again this late summer or early fall.  We would like to find out when is the best time to visit when reservations will be easy to obtain,  we plan on starting this time on rt. 4 and follow the route towards cabots trail.  We also would like to know if there is a way that a list of motels and cabins could be sent to us either by mail or e-mail.. I have been away from home for 29 years and sure miss the area. I am planning on retiring from teaching this year. I have enjoyed working at Sir Sandford Fleming College, School of Natural Resources, in Lindsay, On. and have had many students from the east coast.They were always my favorite students. Hope to come down this summer to do a bit of fishing and look around for a cottage.( any suggestions?)If anyone remembers the name please drop me a note.Hope you have cleaned up all of the snow that I have been hearing about.
