Comments: hi:
I just want to congratulate you for your web site, it is very good!!!
It was funny to know that there is another town called Kemptville in
Canada besides the one where I live. My town is located 50 km south of
Ottawa. It is in Leeds and Grenville County. I learned something new today.
Thanks for your page. Have a nice day!!!
Comments: I didn't know this page existed. I'm glad I found it. Thanks.

Comments: Just the Globe and Mail about Nova Scotia school board tackles
race. I went through the same thing with my children, my daughter was the
only black child in her class. The book was called Underground to Canada
by Barbara Smucker. My concern was that being the only black child in the
class when the n word was used everyone would single her out and make her
life unbearable. I went to the same schools as my children and I refused
to read To Kill a Mocking Bird along with my brother and cousins. So Nova
Scotia you have my support. The book has not been used at the school since.
I took them to Human Rights. Good Luck.
Comments: Sir, I was born in Yarmouth Jan 4th 35, as Paul Frederic Cottreau,

doing a "Family Tree",
Thanking you and God Bless, Paul.

Comments: Just a comment, My forbears were among the original residents
of Yarmouth. My family visited yearly for many years through the 1930's.
My wife and I have visited a number of times but never stopped to check
on Durkee's still living in Yarmouth. We are up in years, but still hope
to visit at least one more time. Your WEB is most interesting.
Comments: I was born and raised in the town of Yarmouth and I was delighted to see that my old home town now has a web site! When I was growing up in Yarmouth,a gentleman named,Williard Allen was then mayor of the town and a company called,Cosmos Imperial Mills was then the chief provider of employment in our town. Anyway,I thoroughly enjoy the web site and plan to visit it often now that I have found it! Keep up the good work...

Comments: I am looking for ANY information regarding BURRELL JOHNSON
AND COMPANY... I believe it was founded by GEORGE W. JOHNSON along
with a few other men. I know it was founded in the mid-1800's and
lasted until at least 1907, possibly still around today. On WATER
STREET, in Yarmouth. I have found some VERY IMPORTANT HISTORICAL
DOCUMENTS regarding this company... some of it's original sketches and
designs. Please e-mail me if you have ANY information. Thank-you,
Joel
Also info about the Yarmouth Woolen Mill would be helpful.
Comments: We intend to visit Nova Scotia Aug this year.
