I fell in love with Yarmouth the moment I saw it and am planning to return

wait. Our favorite place was Cape Forchu, we called it "Tranquility

even if it's only for a little while.

It actually sounds like an interesting place to me! I am a country girl at heart but not very hardy! Can you tell me something about the climate? How cold does it get in winter and how hot in summer? Is there much snow? Are there any wild animals? You mentioned rabbits and we have lots of them here in New Zealand, which were introduced. What about birds, fish, etc? Thanks again for an interesting and informative site. Keep up the good work! Kind regards,

Comments: Very lovely site. Glad to see Rockville included in the loop.
We have one of the most beautiful views of the boats incoming and out going,
from fishing boats to the Cat or the Prince of Fundy from the hill
on the Hilton Rd in Rockville. Take a drive to Chebogue Point (Rockville)
some of the most wonderful scenery again of the ocean.

Comments: My grandparents were Charles and Lois Sollows Perry of Port Maitland. They had six children, one of whom was Florence - my mother. I spent part of every summer in Yarmouth and Port Maitland from the time I was one month old until about 17 yrs, the years ranging from 1926 - 1944. Most of the time we used to come over on the ships from Boston, the Yarmouth and Evangeline. Two of the girls I played with were June Elliott and Myrtis Smith. Does anyone have memories from way back then?
