Jeanette and Harry Dulong were my grandparents. They lived in Malden
Ma. USA most of their lives. My mother is Hazel--bothers George,
was married to Florence Bourque from Belleville--Elmer and sister Anne.
We will be in Pubnico on July 5,2003. At least 40 years since I've
been there.

Trips to town,Yarmouth were fun. A parrot or some talking bird in
one of the stores- Sothby's??? My grandparents were Hary & Jeanette(Landry)
Dulong. My mother is Hazel, her siblings Elmer, Anne, George(deceased)
married to Florence Bourque of Belleville. I did visit in late 60's
and again in early 70's.. Going back over July 4 to a wedding in
Pubnico--we can't wait!

born and lived for the first 17 years of your life. I have been married
for the 2nd time. We have been married for 9 years and I have brought my
wife to Yarmouth on 4 occations and the first time was our honeymoon and
her being from Toronto fell in love with the town and the people. "what's
not to love ah?" We sometimes look over this site together and start to
think about all the fun times we had there in our visits. This site is

I came across a photo taken in the 1940s of him standing in front of Lake Milo. He was a young man training for the Fleet Air Arm as a Telegraphist Air Gunner. Comments: As Beautiful as Yarmouth is, it cannot be properly
captured on camera. I am a former resident of yarmouth, and I hope
to someday return with my husband and new son to show them all that Yarmouth
has to offer.

which needs to attract a walmart, winners store, bigger canada day celebrations
and extend its waterfront boardwalk to include the whole harbour - similar
to halifax. see you @ seafest where you have the nicest fireworks

communities. Believe Lake Annis is one of the more interesting because
of the closeness to Yarmouth (18 miles); the quality of the lake (water);
and the fact that the cottages for the most part front the lake in
one location so that most of the shoreline, over 90% is uninhabited. By
general unwritten consent of those living on the lake, motor driven water
craft are forbidden.

was Joseph John Muise, born August 26, 1897 he served in the Canadian army
during WW1, his wife was Teresa (Robinson) they had two sons Donald and
Allen. My great-grandfather was John Muise, who I understand was a fisherman
and drowned at sea, I beleive it to be the sinking of the Orinoco in 1909.
He was married to Sadie Muise(White?). I understand the name Mius, Meuse
and Muise were only given to those of the Mikmac indian branch. This goes
back to Philippe II Mius D'Entremont, born 1660 (who had two Mikmac indian
wives (both named Marie). I am finding it very difficult to trace from
this point. Any and all help would be greately appreciated. Thank You,

This is where I grew up and I remember the stories of the attic . My family lived on what was known as the New Road when I was grown up. My grand parents lived in the large home on the hill across from the church. From the photo I could see the the old home is still there and that the barn my dad and brothers built are stll standing. Comments: Carleton rules! Ive lived there for like 7 or 8 years. I know
every trail out there like the back of my hand! If your into fishin' try
under the Carleton Bridge! I used to pull out 2-3, 15 inch bass from there
evryday of the summer! Not to mentoin the trout. If you can pull out a
tyrout or 2 in a day, your doin' alright.

arial photography was great.I was able to show my family where I grew up
